Stripart és una mostra de joves artistes adreçada a tots aquells i aquelles que experimenten amb allò que cíclicament se’n diuen “els nous llenguatges artístics”. Una gran exposició oberta a un amplíssim ventall de formes expressives on es barreja pintura, fotografia, disseny, escultura i arquitectures efímeres, poesia visual, instal·lacions, accions i performances, música, vídeo art… Stripart va nèixer amb la voluntat de donar cabuda a tothom que, amb un esperit innovador, passeja sense complexes entre disciplines i tècniques diverses i diferenciades tot explorant convergències, possibilitats i simbiosis.

Muertepop comes back with “Aeleria”, the new musical work of the French artist Aquilone. This sound is full of saturations, a sort of electronic shoegaze dissolved in ambient landascape, a beautiful i.d.m. affected by sweet microfragmentations.
El experimentador industrial-ruidista FLUTWACHT ofrecera 2 directos coincidiendo con su visita al Pais Vasco.
Flutwacht es el seudónimo bajo el que Daniel C Simon, uno de los mayores agitadores del underground industrial de Alemania y director de sellos como Apocalyptic Radio, Tourette Tapes y Nervous Nurse, realiza sus trabajos más intensos. Simon, natural de el Sarre (Alemania) lleva en la música desde 1994 y en 1996 comienza su etapa experimental. En sus performances-directos se vale de diversos artefactos analógicos y chatarras metálicas para realizar un set de gran carga catárquica y emocional, con mucho énfasis en el aspecto visual mediante el uso de proyecciones y de su propio cuerpo como instrumento.

El primero de los conciertos sera el sabado 3 de mayo, en la sala Matadero de Azkoitia (Gipuzkoa). Acompañandole estaran Tzesne+Paralux y Xedh presentando sus nuevas obras.

5 new compositions that were done in the living-room-studio of his house in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia-Spain).
This songs were influenced by his live group set up, in order to build structures with large spaces where they could develope improvisations and where they could enjoy the ephimeral moment of the live act. We can detect this new orientation within his music in the tracks Bomba Navarro and We are like cows.
His live group mates also have played special roles in the composition process, like in the song called Xes, where we can ear the high song of the Santi’s guitar.
In the tracks Money makes me happy and Spaguetti’s rain, we can still apreciate his most remarcable identificable sign, the stilistic triangle fromed by psicodelia, dub and shoegaze.
The Mequetrefe live group is formed by Gerardo (Almax, where Mequetrefe eventually plays guitar), and Santi (Almax and Blixdemia). Both musicians are well know for being member of the disapeared 90’s collective called La familia feliz, from Santiago de Compostela.

En nuestro mundo urbano, del que se dice habitualmente que está dominado por la cultura de la imagen, se despliega una red de relaciones entre silencios y sonidos que se podría considerar casi infinita, inagotable. El sitio web se propone inicialmente trazar algunos hilos de esa compleja red.
Todos los sonidos –inclusive los ruidos- hacen sociedad entre sí y constituyen un verdadero desafío para los escuchas urbanos que se interrogan por el modo de hacerlos audibles y situables en una determinada jerarquía sonora. Justamente allí se despliega lo más interesante de nuestra tarea: tratar de componer el código con el que los habitantes urbanos damos sentido a esta sociedad sonora.
Día tras día, con cada nueva búsqueda y registro, se nos hace más evidente nuestra generalizada insensibilidad para captar los mensajes humanos, animales o maquinales, como así también nuestra dificultad para dotarlos de un sentido. Es por ello que este proyecto se propone registrar y preservar, en el aspecto sonoro, lo que de un modo siempre inestable y fluyente hace el hombre en la historia.

The Secret Message es el primer trabajo de Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo (noi) en escala esta vez bajo el pseudónimo de Stable Mechanism. Un ep de electrónica en clave noventera con el cual noi rinde tributo a todos aquellos sonidos e influencias con los que ha modelado su actual forma de entender la música. En este nuevo disco noi escapa de ese sonido quizá mas frío y agresivo al que esta acostumbrado para hacer un guiño a la idm y el ambient mas clásicos, un paseo cálido y acogedor con mensaje oculto incluido… Para descifrarlo? lo mejor escucharse la octaba referencia de escala.
The Secret Message is the first work of Jorge Ortiz of Pinedo (noi) in escala, this time under the a.k.a. of Stable Mechanism. An ep in which noi wants to yields tribute to all those sounds and influences that has shaped its actually form to understand the music. In this new release, noi tries to escape from that sound coldest and aggressive which he usually does, getting a wink to the idm and the classical ambient, a welcoming and hot walk with hidden message included… To decipher it? the best way is to listen this escala release.
A veces me gusta la idea de tratar de retratar la diferente energia q me rodea a modo de fotografia sonora, digamos que no es solo retratarla, sino describirla con sonidos, y aunque la escucha sea algo demasiado subjetivo, hay ciertos temas que tienen su energia particular y se dejan oir…
esta es la razon de este par de nuevas instrumentales, no sabria catalogarlas en un estilo pero eso lo podeis hacer directamente vosotros si quereis
Este es el séptimo de una serie de ‘ready mades’, con este término no pretendo hacer ningún tipo de afirmación artística, simplemente es una manera de denotar que yo no he tenido mucho que ver en la realización de estas piezas, ya que simplemente me he limitado a grabar un sonido emitido por una máquina.
En este caso, la máquina en cuestión es un aparato de finales de los años 80 que estaba pensado para alterar las ondas cerebrales con la intención de relajar, aliviar el stress, etc. La empresa que lo fabricaba fue cerrada a principios de los 90 por orden judicial, acusados entre otras cosas de publicidad engañosa y de vender dispositivos supuestamente médicos sin los permisos apropiados. Además, se atribuían a sus aparatos varios casos de ataques de epilepsia.

This is the seventh of a series of ‘ready mades’, with this term I’m not trying to make an artistic statement, it’s just a way to underline that I haven’t play a huge role in the creation of these pieces, which are just recordings of a sound emitted by a machine.
In this case, the machine is a device from the late eighties that was intended to modify brain waves to relax, relieve stress, etc. The enterprise that built this machine was closed at the beginning of the nineties with a court order. They were accused of misbranded and selling pretended medical devices without the required authorization. Besides, there were attributed epileptic seizures to the use of these machines.
