Originally created for the bunKerart space in Milan (Italy) curated by RAM radioartemobile, the installation involves two major protagonists of Italian culture.
The installation is composed of painted stoneware tiles, covering the entire space with alternate green and cobalt on a white background. The floor is surrounded by an aural installation by Gianna Nannini. This track, conceived to accompany the steps of the public on Accardi’s floor, was recorded by Nannini in Moscow’s Red Square, later revised.
For this new edition, the installation by Carla Accardi is enriched by further works: along with 3 large-scale pieces created specifically for the Muscovite space, for the first time on exhibition are her famous “Lenzuoli”, painted sheets from the 1970s, taken from the artist’s private collection.
The installation’s next stop will be AuditoriumArte – Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma from 21st November 2008 to 7th January 2009.
The event is covered by a bulletin in Italian and Russian with a critical text by Achille Bonito Oliva.
The exhibition, curated and promoted by RAM radioartemobile (Rome), is sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow and has been aided by generous contribution from the Enel electrical company.

El silencio No existe es un programa de radio realizado y conducido por Sol Rezza que se emite a través de La Voladora Radio (97.3 FM), en Amecameca de Juárez, Estado de México, todos los miércoles de 18 a 19 horas.
El programa está dedicado al arte sonoro, radiofónico y experimental, al paisaje sonoro y a todo lo relacionado con el sonido. Su objetivo es promover nuevas formas de escucha del mundo, acercándonos tanto a sonidos familiares como a trabajos generalmente poco conocidos, con cada una de sus ediciones centrada en torno a un tema específico.
